Guest use

A random secure session keeps points and purchases consistent. Basic appearance and draft information are also cached in your browser so the companion can recover if your connection drops. A guest session is not linked to your name or email.

Signed-in use

If you choose Sign in with ChatGPT, the companion links your profile, points, inventory, equipped items, approved memories, mood entries and saved games to your authenticated email so they can appear on another device. Authentication is handled by the site platform.

Conversation and memory

Long-term memory starts off. Ordinary conversation is not added to long-term memory unless you switch memory on. A possible preference is shown to you first and saved only after you approve it. Crisis, medical, medication, trauma, abuse and sexual details are excluded from long-term memory.

AI and voice processing

When you request an intelligent reply, the message you submit and limited current context are processed by Cloudflare Workers AI through a protected server endpoint. The private service credential is never placed in browser code. Cloudflare states that Workers AI prompts and replies are not used to train its models. Voice input and read-aloud use the browser's speech features when available and only after you press a control. The site does not automatically turn on a microphone or play audio.

Intelligent replies use a free daily allowance that resets at midnight UTC: 3 for guests, 8 for free signed-in accounts and 30 for active Quiet Room members. Crisis information, check-ins, grounding, journalling and games remain available without using that allowance. If the shared free AI allocation is exhausted, Mia says so plainly and does not present a scripted reply as live AI.

Safety and analytics

Serious-risk language can create a minimal safety event containing a category, country and action taken, not the private message itself. General analytics show counts such as companion opens, games played and shop activity. Raw private conversations are not shown in the administrator analytics dashboard and emotional data is not used for targeted advertising.

Your controls

Settings let you turn memory off, review and remove individual memories, clear a conversation, clear mood history, export your data or delete the entire companion account. When memory is enabled, conversation history is kept for up to 90 days by default. The administrator can shorten this period. Approved preferences remain until you remove them, switch memory off or delete the account.

Important boundary

The companion is an AI wellbeing friend. It is not a psychologist, therapist, doctor, diagnosis, emergency service or replacement for professional care.
